Subduing Inflammation: Natural Solutions

Copaiba oil is derived from the resin of trees belonging to the Copaifera genus, primarily Copaifera officinalis and Copaifera langsdorffii. These trees are native to the rainforests of South America, particularly found in regions of Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and other parts of the Amazon basin. The extraction of Copaiba oil involves tapping into the tree trunk to collect the resin. The resin is then steam-distilled to obtain the essential oil.

Copaiba oil has been used traditionally by indigenous communities in South America for various purposes, including its potential medicinal properties. In recent years, it has gained popularity in the health and wellness industries due to its purported anti-inflammatory and calming effects as well as its ability to replace harmful NSAIDs and opioids. Copaiba essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties and an even greater ability than CBD to reduce inflammation. The potential anti-inflammatory benefits of Copaiba essential oil are attributed to its main compound, beta-caryophyllene.

Beta-caryophyllene is a natural sesquiterpene found in Copaiba oil, and it is known to interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS plays a role in regulating various physiological processes, including inflammation. Beta-caryophyllene acts as a selective agonist of cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2), which is mainly found in immune cells and tissues associated with inflammation. By binding to CB2 receptors, beta-caryophyllene may modulate immune response and reduce inflammation.

We have numerous testimonies from ACL reconstruction post-surgery relief, disc herniation, and migraine. It also works to calm down allergies and improve mood in some individuals. The preferred method of delivery for inflammation is throwing 5-10 drops in an empty capsule and swallowing with water. We have seen zero side effects with regular use.

Personal Experiences:
1) A young female high school soccer player badly tore her ACL and had it repaired. They got her home and she couldn’t stop crying from the pain once the nerve block wore off. These were friends so they called us for advice. We gave her 10 drops in a capsule and she had relief in about 20 mins. She had to continue use but did so without negative side effects.
2) My wife had a cervical disc herniation that left her in bed and horrific pain. She was prescribed opioids for the pain but they made her groggy and still left her in pain. Once she started using oral capsules of copaiba she was able to experience some relief. To our surprise, it was far more relief than any of the drugs she had tried.

Here is our preferred source for copaiba.

Live well,
Joe
